Safeguarding Reproductive Freedoms

Please join If/When/How and ACS at Michigan Law in welcoming Bonsitu Kitaba, the Legal Director of the ACLU of Michigan, to campus for a discussion on Michigan Proposal 3: Right to Reproductive Freedom Initiative (2022). This ballot initiative brought together community members across legal, policy, communications, and organizing spaces. As a key leader in this effort, Kitaba will share how the proposal transformed from an idea into a successful statewide campaign. She will also discuss the current national landscape of reproductive rights.
