Protecting LGBTQ+ Rights Under Trump II: A Conversation with Experts

Northwestern Law, Room RB 140, Chicago, IL

This discussion will explore U.S. v. Skrmetti, Mahmoud v. Taylor, and the future of LGBTQ+ advocacy under the Roberts Court and Trump administration.
Our speakers include Tara Borelli (she/her), Senior Counsel at Lambda Legal; Professor Kara Ingelhart (she/her), Assistant Professor of Law at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and Founding Director of the LGBTQI+ Rights Clinic; and Professor Jules Gill-Peterson (she/her), Associate Professor of History at Johns Hopkins University.
We anticipate attendance of between 60 and 80 people. We anticipate high turnout because we're cohosting with OUTLaw, our school's LGBTQ+ affinity law student group.
We will be providing lunch for attendees.
