Join the ACS Dallas-Ft. Worth Lawyer Chapter, ACS SMU Dedman School of Law Student Chapter, and the Dallas Asian American Bar Association for a screening and panel discussion of ALTERNATIVE FACTS: The Lies of Executive Order 9066. The documentary, which highlights the legal and political circumstances that led to the incarceration of Japanese-Americans during World War II, will precede a discussion, featuring Don Tamaki, one of Fred Korematsu’s attorneys who overturned his conviction, and Jeffrey Kahn on the limits of executive power and the lessons we can learn from Japanese-American internment.
