AFL-CIO Pres. Richard Trumka: Kavanaugh, The Supreme Court, and Working People

Yale Law School, Room 127, New Haven, CT

With Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination pending before the Senate Judiciary Committee, legal protections for workers may be in jeopardy. Recent Supreme Court nominees have been increasingly turning the Court away from working people, instead siding with corporations time and time again. President Trumka will discuss how the Court should be supporting working Americans, what a broader working-person vision for the Court would look like, and how Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation would impact that vision.

Lunch will be served.
