ACS Chicago: Speed Networking

Chicago-Kent College of Law, Morris Hall, Chicago, IL

Join the Chicago Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society for a speed networking event to kick off the Chapter’s new mentorship program between law students and attorneys.

Students will have the opportunity to speak to as many attorneys as possible in short, 5-10 minute rounds. Time-permitting, a happy hour will follow for more unstructured discussion. After the event, students will be asked to fill out a short survey indicating mentor preferences. The Chapter will then match students with attorneys and host future happy hours and other events for mentors and mentees to meet.

Why participate in the mentorship program?

  • Attorneys: this is an opportunity to give back and mentor the next generation of lawyers. For those unable to commit to Chapter leadership, mentorship provides another concrete way to get plugged in to ACS.
  • Law students: benefit from advice from local practicing attorneys, based on your own interests.
