ACS Minneapolis: Luminary Luncheon with Karl Procaccini

The American Constitution Society (ACS) is pleased to announce that the next Legal Luminary Luncheon series will feature Karl Procaccini, General Counsel & Deputy Chief of Staff at the Office of Governor Tim Walz & Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan. ACS's Legal Luminary Luncheons provide an exclusive opportunity for ACS members to dialogue with and learn from luminaries of the Twin Cities legal and policy community. The luncheons generally are attended by approximately seven to ten members. The event is on August 26, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Red Cow (208 N 1st Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55401) on their outdoor patio. Due to the high demand and limited space availability of these luncheons, please let Adam Miller know if you RSVP and are unable to attend (mill010590@gmail.com).

Karl Procaccini joined the Governor's Office at the inception of the Walz Administration. He was instrumental in guiding the State's response to Covid-19 and the civil unrest in the wake of the George Floyd murder. Prior to joining the Governor's Office, Karl was a partner at the law firm of Greene Espel. Procaccini attended Harvard for both his undergraduate and law degrees, and he served as a law clerk for former U.S. District and Appeals Court Judge Diana Murphy and U.S. District Court Judge Michael Davis. He has also taught at the University of St. Thomas and the Mitchell Hamline law schools.
