Russ Feingold on Surveillance and Privacy


In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal’s Tech News Podcast, ACS President Russ Feingold discusses 9/11's impact on privacy.

"The trouble is the laws in these areas have not kept up, and just like the Patriot Act when they are, they're not carefully drafted to really make sure that the requests are not fishing expeditions, just looking around for information in a pile of information that may have nothing to do with any bad conduct or terrorism."
