The Future of Wisconsin’s Voter ID Law


On April 29, a federal court ruled that 2011 Wisconsin Act 23, the Wisconsin voter ID law, violates Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act and imposes an unjustified burden on the right to vote in violation of the Fourteenth Amendment. Jim Eichner, Managing Director of Programs, Advancement Project; Charles G.
