Jordan Guillen

Chapters Associate

Jordan Guillen (he/him) joined ACS in June 2022 and serves as the Chapters Associate. In this capacity, he works with the Chapter Team to support the work of our ACS Chapters, including assisting with programming, network building, and annual events.

Jordan brings a wealth of experience in research and advocacy to his role at ACS. Before joining the team, he served as a research intern at the Death Penalty Information Center (DPIC), a renowned non-profit organization focused on providing in-depth analysis and information about capital punishment to the media and the public. At DPIC, Jordan meticulously aggregated and compared data for the organization's comprehensive databases encompassing every individual sentenced to death in the United States since 1972. Additionally, he played a key role in refining DPIC's recruitment databases and tracking the organization's media influence.

Driven by a passion for learning, Jordan pursued his education ambitiously. While in high school, he earned his AA Degree in Political Science from Los Angeles Mission College. He furthered his academic journey by obtaining a B.A. in Political Science - Public Service and Sociology, with an emphasis in Law & Society a year early from the University of California, Davis. Jordan is currently based in Washington, DC. In his free time he enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with his Labradoodle puppy, Elio.
