Carlye Gibson Rooney

Vice President of Development

Carlye Gibson Rooney joined the American Constitution Society in 2021 and serves as Vice President of Development. In this role, she leads ACS’s fundraising strategy and oversees the cultivation and stewardship of donor relationships in support of the organization’s mission. With nearly 20 years of experience in development, Carlye has advanced a wide range of progressive causes, including social justice, education equity, economic development, and gender equity.

A native of Norman, Oklahoma, Carlye earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Oklahoma. She now lives in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area with her spouse and two daughters. In the fall, she can be found cheering on her beloved Sooners and fondly reminiscing about her time in the Pride of Oklahoma marching band.
