ACS New York: NY's 12th Congressional District Candidate Forum

Please join the ACS New York Lawyer Chapter, the ACS Fordham Student Chapter, the New York City Bar Association, and the New York City Bar Election Law Committee for a forum featuring Democratic primary candidates for New York's 12th Congressional District.

The forum will focus on local issues facing New Yorkers as well as the candidates' approach to national issues. The forum will be moderated by Ben Max, of the Center for New York City and State Law at New York Law School and host of the Max Politics podcast.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive when doors open at 6:30 PM for refreshments and networking before the forum begins at 7 PM. A reception will follow.

The Roberts Era: Supreme Court Jurisprudence in 2026

NYT opinion columnist Jamelle Bouie will be joining Richmond ACS for a conversation on the Roberts Court. Professor Tom Donnelly will also participate in the discussion as a moderator. While the broader topic will be the current Court, the discussion may focus on one of the many recent opinions or emergency orders issued by the Court in recent months.

Where Are They Now? ACS Alumni Stories Before the Finish Line

This event provides an opportunity for students to take a well-deserved pause before finals and hear from ACS alumni who once sat where they are now. In this panel, former ACS officers share where their paths have taken them, finals and job searching tips, and perspective on how ACS benefitted their journey.
