Planning to have a discussion about ICE, the Constitution, and current trends in immigration law here in Oklahoma and across the US In light of certain recent events involving ICE (the unjustified detainment and deportation of U.S. citizens, the mistreatment of detainees in ICE custody, and the deaths of peaceful protesters/observers in Minneapolis) we believe it’s important to stay informed and to have a forum for discussion on these important topics as law students and as future lawyers.

UVA ACS Chapter will be hosting Thea Cohen (ACS Director of Strategic Engagement) to discuss the clerkship process generally and the specific resources that ACS offers its members. We will also be joined by current and former clerks as well as 3Ls who have already secured clerkships.
