Lunch & Learn: Death Penalty Abolition
We are hosting a lunch and learn style event November 9th on death penalty abolition in Kentucky and beyond. We will be screening the film "Racist Roots" (linked here-- https://racistroots.org/film/) and discussing Kentucky stories that mirror the examples included in the film. We are hoping to have members from the Kentucky Coalition for Abolishing the Death Penalty present at our event to discuss Kentucky's abolition movement specifically. We are also partnering with our law school's chapters of Black Law Student Association, American Civil Liberties Union, and Lambda Law Caucus.
