The State of Voting Rights Today: A Dicussion

Speakers Paul Smith from CLC, Sonali Seth from the Brennan Center, and Professor Richard Briffault from Columbia Law School come together to discuss the current state of voting rights in the United States. The discussion focuses on the two past summer term voting rights cases, while also talking about the effects that voting rights cases have on local redistricting. The Columbia Law School Democrats are cosponsoring this event.

Judicial Clerkship Event

The event will cover clerkship applications, selection processes, and work expectations for clerks. The event will provide perspective to students interested in clerking on how to get there and how to succeed as a clerk. Speakers will include Judge William F. Jung and law clerks Alex Bailey and Alana Hart.

Public Interest and Government Summer Internship Panel

ACS cosponsored with PILS, LWC hosted a panel of 2Ls and 3Ls about their experiences working in Public Interest and Government summer internships. Lunch provided by Medici.
