Creighton Law ACS will host Senior United States District Judge Joseph F. Bataillon (a Creighton Law alum) for a "Lunch with a District Judge" event on October 22nd at 12 p.m. in Room 121. All Creighton Law students interested in hearing about Judge Bataillon's career and experiences are welcome to join! Creighton Law students are encouraged to bring questions about Judge Bataillon's career, what it is like to work in a district court, and any other topics you are interested in learning more about from Judge Bataillon. Those who would like to receive lunch should RSVP by October 14th. However, if you miss the deadline to RSVP for food, you are still welcome to come and participate in the discussion!

Everytown Law, the legal arm of Everytown for Gun Safety, the preeminent gun safety advocacy group in the country, will come to Harvard Law. The speakers will be Eric Tirschwell, Executive Director and Chief Litigation Counsel, and Priyanka Sen, Counsel for Second Amendment Litigation. They will be discussing gun safety litigation, with a particular focus on ghost guns.
Join ACS at Belmont host a panel of Tennessee and Nashville representatives and advocates to speak and educate law students about voters rights in Tennessee.
Join Professor Emeritus Gilbert Carrasco and Professor Juan Rocha for a discussion on Arizona Proposition 314, the "defending our boarders" ballot initiative. During the event, we will debunk popular misconceptions about immigration, go through Prop. 314 in detail and explore the federalism concerns about allowing state law enforcement to enforce federal immigration law.
