ACS Georgia: Navigating Post-Election and Holiday Stress: Effective Techniques for Tough Times

Please join the ACS Georgia Lawyer Chapter for a dynamic, interactive session to understand stress and learn how to respond to it effectively. Discover practical techniques, using awareness, breath and movement, that can help you navigate stress better.

While long-term stress management approaches like mindfulness, exercise, and healthy habits are important, they are not always feasible in the heat of the moment, such as in a hearing on a voting rights matter or a disagreement about holiday plans.

In this one-hour workshop, you’ll not only learn about stress but also experience hands-on practices that you can use right away to restore calm and focus.

Bring your curiosity, questions, and a willingness to engage as we explore strategies that support your well-being under stress.

Featuring:

Plamen Russev, a transactional lawyer in Atlanta, will guide us in better understanding and responding to stress. He has published several articles on attorney health and well-being. He chairs the State Bar's Lawyers Assistance Program and has led numerous seminars on relaxation techniques for both lawyers and non-lawyers over the past twelve years. As a certified Integral Coach and breathwork practitioner, Plamen also provides breath and stress coaching for individuals and groups.
