This is our monthly board meeting, where we'll be discussing this semester's ongoing events, including a few high-profile ones with Gary Peters and Neil Eggleston.

Professor Ronald Krotoszynski will unpack Elon Musk’s recent moves to slash federal agencies and his unexpected maneuvers involving DOGE. From executive power and regulatory rollbacks to the implications of decentralized finance on government authority, this talk will explore the legal and constitutional ramifications of Musk’s actions.

The NYLS Chapter of ACS shall host Professor Lenni Benson to discuss the current status of immigration in the United States and specifically in New York. She intends to provide an overview of executive orders and other recent information to help students break down exactly what is going on.

On Tuesday, ACS, WLA, HLS Democrats, and Freshfields will host Boston City Council President Ruthzee Louijeune for a lunch talk on local government and a career in elected politics. Council President Louijeune has served as an at-large member of the City Council since 2022 and is the first Haitian-American member of the Council. She is a graduate of HLS and the Kennedy School and previously served as Senior Counsel for Elizabeth Warren's 2020 presidential campaign.
