Kickoff Lunch

This lunch event will serve as an introduction to Michigan Law's ACS Student Chapter. It will feature a welcome from our faculty advisor, Barb McQuade, and our new co-presidents, and a discussion about the organization's history, how to get involved, and what our members envision for the coming year.

How to 1L: Introduction to Law School

Description provided:

Welcome to 1L! For those who are lost in the sea of readings and conflicting advice, ACS is happy to provide some guidance in How To 1L.

Join us on Monday, September 15th at 3:00 PM at Fitts Auditorium to grab some Levain cookies and discover the variety of successful strategies used by past and present Penn ACS board members. This event is the first in a series that will occur periodically throughout your first year, and will focus on how to write case briefs, handle your readings, and prepare for cold calls.

After an initial info-session with slides and general guidance, a panel of 2Ls and 3Ls will answer questions and provide professor-specific advice in a Q+A session.
