Ways to Stay in Engaged While You Stay Home: October 8 Edition

Kennedy Freeman Network Advancement Associate

The Government Accountability Project, the nation's leading whistleblower protection and advocacy organization, recently launched the Democracy Protection Initiative (DPI), which seeks to protect democracy by supporting employees who choose to blow the whistle on illegality and abuses of power aimed at undermining the election or sabotaging the peaceful transition of power. GAP has an immediate need for attorneys to help with whistleblower intakes and legal analysis of cases. Training will be provided and the time commitment is around 5 hours per intake. Volunteers are welcome to help with as many intakes as they have time for and the project will run until shortly after the election. If you are interested in participating or have any questions, please contact Ashley Erickson at aerickson@acslaw.org.
