Women's Equality Day Celebration and Voter Registration Tabling

August 26, 2019, commemorates the 99th anniversary of the Nineteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, granting women the right to vote. Today, we celebrate Women's Equality Day to honor this historic occasion and call attention to the continuing efforts to achieve full equality.

The Mizzou Law student chapter will be co-hosting a celebration which includes a voter registration drive! Come learn fun trivia about the Nineteenth Amendment and get some celebratory snacks with the American Constitution Society and Women's Law Association while the League of Women Voters of Columbia-Boone County will be at the law school to register voters!
