WashU Law: The Quilters Documentary Showing
Join the American Constitution Society and Criminal Law Society for a special screening of The Quilters, a Netflix Original documentary exploring an unexpected and deeply human story from inside a Missouri maximum-security prison.
The Quilters follows a group of incarcerated men who design and sew intricate, personalized quilts for children in foster care. Through craftsmanship, care, and creativity, the film highlights themes of dignity, rehabilitation, community, and the human capacity for generosity, even within the most punitive corners of the criminal legal system.
This event is part of ACS’s Criminal Justice themed month, and we’re excited to create space for reflection, conversation, and community through film.
Pizza and movie snacks will be provided! Come relax, eat, and watch with us.
