Trans Rights Workshop

We will present about the recent Trump administration proposal to define sex to exclude the recognition of transgender Americans. We will discuss how this policy change could affect transgender Americans in the realms of health care, prisons, and discrimination claims. We will train students on how to facilitate rights access for trans people both in the status quo and after any potential changes. Finally, we will close with a brainstorming session for a Notice & Comment submission on the proposal from Cornell Law students.
