The Technological Impact of Police Brutality

William & Mary Law School, Williamsburg, VA

Please join the Black Law Students Association for our annual Symposium on February 23, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in Room 119. This year's topic of discussion is the Technological Impact of Police Brutality: The Then, The What, The Now What. The advances in technology have shed light on police brutality that has been occurring for decades. There will be a panel of five engaging law professors, attorneys and a police chief, moderated by Professor Adam Gershowitz, to discuss their experiences and professional opinions regarding body cameras, social media, and other advances that have impacted this area.

After the Q&A and discussion there will be a reception in the Hixon Center with hors d'oeuvres provided by Bakers Crust.

This Symposium is co-sponsored by the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy and the Latino Law Student Association.

We hope to see you there!
