The Politics of Preparing for Climate Change

FREE: Hear from Great Rivers Attorney and Climate and Energy Program Director Henry Robertson and other community leaders exploring the politics of preparing for climate change.

This panel event will provide an opportunity to hear from community officials, members of environmental entities, scholars, and those involved in the climate change community regarding the current status of local and national preparations for climate change and the political, economic and social challenges facing legislators and administrators.

The panel will seek to give an overview of the efforts in St. Louis to prepare for and address concerns about climate change, the problems faced by governments in trying to prepare for climate change, and the political implications of pursuing climate change reforms. 

The event will be hosted from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. on February 19 by the ACS and the Energy and Environmental Law Society (EELS) in Anheuser-Busch Hall, Room 305, at Washington University in St. Louis.

The public is encouraged to attend.
