Supreme Court Nominations in a Polarized Senate

Maurer School of Law Room 123

Duke Law Professor Christopher Schroeder will address this vital issue, made timely by SCOTUS nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh's nomination pending before the U.S. Senate. In addition to his scholarship, Professor Schroeder was centrally involved in Supreme Court nominations, as well as lower federal court nominations, in his capacity as Assistant Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice and as Chief Counsel for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee. Cohosted by the IU Provost's Office, Maurer Law School, and Maurer's chapter of the American Constitution Society. Lunch provided. 1 hour of CLE credit available.
