SULC-ACS Closing Remarks at Film Screening of "Unpunished: The Ronald Greene Murder and Cover Up”
Film screening and panel discussion of *Unpunished: The Ronald Greene Murder and Cover Up*, a documentary directed by Chico Bryant examining the 2019 death of Ronald Greene and the alleged law enforcement cover-up.
The program will include a screening followed by a panel discussion on police accountability, restorative justice, and the legal issues surrounding the case.
Featured speakers include filmmaker Chico Bryant, members of the film’s production team, and Carl Cavalier, the Louisiana State Police whistleblower connected to the case.
The event is organized by Professor Angela A. Allen-Bell and the Louis A. Berry Institute for Civil Rights, Human Rights and Social Justice at Southern University Law Center.
The Southern University Law Center chapter of the American Constitution Society will be represented by Ms. Karies Adams, who will assist with opening greetings and represent the organization during the program. Co-sponsors include the SULC American Constitution Society Chapter, SULC BLSA, the Public Defender community partners, Roots Camp / Solidarity Network, and other community organizations.
