Rigged Screening and Phone/Text Back

The day after the Voter Rights panel, US Attorney Gerry Hebert will host a lunch time screening of the movie “Rigged” which highlights major voting rights issues. Following this screening, students will participate in a phone/text bank initiative. This will involve contacting Alabama residents who may have been previously disenfranchised but now possess the right to vote without realizing it. We are in the process of getting these phone banking event to count for community service hours.
