Masterpiece Cakeshop Decision and its Impact for Years to Come

This lunch panel will have four professors that will discuss the implications of the recent Masterpiece Cakeshop decision. There will be rainbow cupcakes (as well as Halloween cupcakes). The professors are as follows: 

- Andrew Siegel (Constitutional Law, History)

- Charlotte Garden (Constitutional Law, Labor/Employment) 

- Deirdre Bowen (Constitutional Law, Family Law) 

- Bryan Adamson (First Amendment, Consumer Rights)

We will discuss the decision itself, what it means for LGBTQ rights, consumer rights, compelled-speech decisions, and freedom of speech, especially with Justice Kavanaugh now on the bench.
