Massachusetts Ballot Initiatives to Expand Voting Rights

Massachusetts residents are currently collecting thousands of signatures to qualify two voting rights initiatives to the Massachusetts ballot. The first, led by Voter Choice Massachusetts, seeks to bring ranked-choice voting to state elections and, if successful, would appear on the 2020 ballot. The other, led by MassPOWER, seeks to restore voting rights for currently incarcerated individuals serving felonies and, if successful, would appear on the 2022 ballot.
