Lunch with Attorney David Smith

ACS at Missouri is excited to announce a wonderful opportunity to spend time with a local practicing attorney. Next Monday at 1 P.M. We are hosting attorney David Smith for a lunch discussion. Mr. Smith will be available to discuss life as an attorney and answer your questions related to practicing law. 

Mr. Smith is a local attorney at Smith & Parnell. He practices litigation, specializing in criminal defense and personal injury. He earned his J.D. from Tulane and is an alum of Mizzou undergrad. His attorney bio states:

Due to increasing complaints of excessive use of force by law enforcement, David along with other community leaders, organized the effort for a Citizens Police Review Board for the City of Columbia, Missouri. David was appointed by the Columbia City Council to sit on the committee to assess the need for a review board and he chaired the sub-committee designed to draft the model for the operation and structure of the Board which was ultimately established in 2009.
