Legal Observer Training

Co-hosted by Socialist Law & National Lawyers Guild and the American Constitution Society Chapters at UW Madison Law. Volunteers trained by the National Lawyers Guild (NLG) attend protests, marches, or other actions to: monitor, observe, and document government conduct against First Amendment-protected activity, and provide arrest support for protesters on the ground and help support teams track and help arrested folks. The training will be given by Amanda Leipold of Madison's NLG Chapter. RSVP is not required.
