Please join ACS and the Temple Law Black Law Students Association for an important discussion about how rap lyrics are used as evidence in criminal trials against hip-hop artists, and how this racialized practice criminalizes Black artistry and creative expression. Discussion topics will include specific examples of this practice, the legal issues involved, and the cultural implications for hip-hop and racial justice more generally.
