GWU Notice & Comment Party

GW Law Professors Paulina Vera and Stephen Pershing will give students an introduction to the notice and comment process and as well as information about two opportunities to submit comments. Students will then draft comments for the following: (1) proposed final State Department rule amending regulations which determine whether an immigrant is ineligible for a visa under the INA because they are likely to become a public charge; and (2) proposed information collection that would allow the Census Bureau to receive citizen's demographic information collected by state agencies. 

Students are welcome to bring their lunches. Dessert will be served.
