Equity Under the Law: Missouri Treatment Courts and Veteran Rehabilitation

Judges, Prosecuting attorneys, defense lawyers, etc. will join ACS, FedSoc, and the Mizzou Law Veterans Society to speak about state level specialized courts dealing with drug abuse and mental illness programs for veterans that commit crimes. Compassion and rehabilitative means seldom exist in the current criminal justice system; this event will highlight a rare moment in which the State of Missouri soberly advocated for a better way of addressing crimes and veterans' affairs.
