Dobbs v. Whole Woman's Health Interdisciplinary Discussion Panel

Richardson ACS, in partnership with North Carolina Central University ACS and the Black Law Students Association, is hosting a virtual interdisciplinary panel on October 7, 2022 at 11:00 AM (HST) / 5:00 PM (EST) discussing the effects that the Dobbs v. Whole Woman's Health opinion has had on the medical field, legal field, and reproductive rights, generally. ACS is excited to have invited professors, doctors, lawyers, and other professionals from across the nation to offer unique perspectives about abortion rights and the real-life impact of the Dobbs opinion.

The event will be moderated by California trial attorney Claire Melehani and will feature guest speakers from around the country, including: Dr. Reni Soon of the University of Hawaii School of Medicine; Dr. Erica Pettigrew of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine; Candace Bond-Theriault, an attorney, activist, and Director of Racial Justice Policy & Strategy for Columbia's Center for Gender & Sexuality Law; and Leslie Dismukes, the Criminal Bureau Chief at the North Carolina Department of Justice.
