Day of Civic Engagement

Nonpartisan effort to promote civic engagement and strengthen the democratic process through volunteering as poll workers and election call responders.

We won't have mandatory cancelled classes on Election Day, but we have many professors who have opted to participate and reschedule their classes. We have the support of ACS, the Fed Socs, and SBA. We have poll worker volunteer positions established with a local nonprofit and the local county commissioner. Finally, we have a roundtable in the works over the lunch hour on Election Day to discuss election-related issues.
