Criminal Justice Reform Panel

McDonough Hall 201, Washington, DC

Criminal justice reform remains a significant issue in the minds of voters going into the 2020 election. Although the political paradigm has shifted from being 'tough on crime' to policing and sentencing reform, the question remains how former prosecutors and lawmakers should be evaluated in light of their past policies. Join a panel of distinguished speakers (including Professor Christy Lopez, Professor Shon Hopwood, and Prosecutors' Center for Excellence's Kristine Hamann) as we pose the question of how a criminal justice reform-focused voter should judge the past positions of a candidate.
