BLSA & ACS Present: 13th

Join BLSA and ACS on July 17 at 6:00 p.m. for a Zoom discussion on the documentary film 13th, co-sponsored by SBA. Created by Ava Duvernay, 13th explores the "intersection of race, justice, and mass incarceration in the United States." Please watch the film—available on Netflix or YouTube (for free!)—ahead of the discussion.

This will be a student-driven discussion with guiding questions provided by BLSA and ACS. Professors Vivian Hamilton and Paul Marcus have generously offered to moderate the discussion, and we will benefit from their knowledge of the relevant law and related legal issues. Please come to our virtual space with empathy and a willingness to learn.
