ACS Los Angeles: February Reading Group- Senate Reform

The Senate is the poster child of minority rule: fifteen states (representing about 38 million people combined) send 30 Senators to congress, while California (representing about 40 million people alone) sends 2. According to one estimate, by 2040, 70% of America (by population) will be represented by 30% of the Senate. Join the ACS Los Angeles Lawyer Chapter as we discuss Senate reform. Articles and opinion pieces will be circulated prior to the conversation, but feel free to read one, all, or none of them--the important thing is to show up informed and ready to engage on the topic.
