ACS Dallas-Ft. Worth: Limitations of the Presidential Power in Declaring Emergency
Join the Dallas-Ft. Worth Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society for a panel discussion this Presidents Day. President Trump has announced that he will use his executive authority to declare a national emergency to build a border wall. What limits exist on the president’s power to declare an emergency?
