Join the Dallas-Ft. Worth Lawyer Chapter of the American Constitution Society for a panel discussion this Presidents Day. President Trump has announced that he will use his executive authority to declare a national emergency to build a border wall. What limits exist on the president’s power to declare an emergency? Will Trump’s proposed actions violate the Constitution? Will this become a case for the U.S. Supreme Court?
