ACS Boston: Creating a Progressive Pipeline to the Federal Judiciary

Northeastern University School of Law, Boston, MA

Join the ACS Boston Lawyer Chapter and the ACS Northeastern University School of Law Student Chapter for a presentation by ACS Boston Lawyer Chapter Board Members Jamie Hoag and Daniel Urman. They will explore what ACS is doing to develop pathways to the federal bench from law schools through clerkships and legal careers that result in the appointment and confirmation of qualified progressive jurists by the President and U.S. Senate.

Conservatives succeeded in transforming the judiciary into an ideological tool for their special interests by nurturing a vast and efficient network of law students and attorneys into jurists. This presentation will look into creating a working group to explore how to build the necessary structures for progressive law students and attorneys to become successful candidates for the federal bench.

Featuring:

Jamie Hoag, Director of Government Relations and Assistant Legal Counsel, College of the Holy Cross; Member, ACS Boston Lawyer Chapter Board of Directors

Daniel Urman, Director, Northeastern University School of Law’s Online & Hybrid Programs; Member, ACS Boston Lawyer Chapter Board of Directors
