The Fireside Bench: Discussion of Judicial Philosophy and Wisdom

Join the ACS Student chapter at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law as host, in collaboration with the Federalist Society, a panel of four Michigan state judges to discuss their experience on the bench and differences in judicial philosophy.

ACS has guaranteed the attendance of the following two judges as panelists: Judge Daniel S. Korobkin, Michigan Court of Appeals; and Judge Adrienne N. Young, Michigan Court of Appeals. The Federalist Society will invite Judge Matthew Ackerman, Michigan Court of Appeals, and Judge Michael Warren, Oakland County Circuit Court.

The panel will be followed by a social hour in which students will have the opportunity to network with the judges and lawyers present.
