ACS Philadelphia Presents: Judicial Panel with ACS President Phil Brest
Join the ACS Philadelphia Lawyer Chapter for our upcoming judicial panel, where an esteemed panel of state and federal judges will discuss the importance of their positions and their paths to the judiciary. Panelists will also share advice on navigating the clerkship process. The panel will focus on each judge's path to the bench, tips for prospective student interns, and common mistakes made by practicing attorneys.
The panel will be moderated by ACS President Phil Brest. From 2023 to 2025, Phil served as Senior Counsel in the White House and Special Assistant to President Biden, leading the Biden-Harris Administration’s efforts to vet, nominate, and confirm federal judges.
Join us for the panel discussion for practical tips to both law students and practicing attorneys on how to effectively advocate for clients. Stay for a happy hour with light bites and an opportunity for networking and connecting with fellow progressive lawyers, advocates, legal professionals, and judges in Philadelphia.
