A Conversation About Voting Rights in America Today
Join the ACS University of Alabama Student Chapter for an event co-hosted with the Black Law Student Association that will discuss the recent developments affecting the right to vote and access to the ballot here in Alabama and more broadly across the nation. Specifically, the event will address the Supreme Court's recent decisions in Louisiana v. Callais and Allen v. Milligan, identifying misinformation about voting, and discussing Alabama's newest changes to their voting procedures. The event will be moderated by Alabama Law's Professor Bryan Fair who will be joined by Jerome Dees, the Alabama Policy Director of the Southern Poverty Law Center.
