Appellate Advocacy and Government Lawyering

ACS and the Environmental Law & Policy Clinic will be hosting Sarah Harrington, former deputy assistant attorney general of the D.O.J. and current partner at Covington for a lunch talk focused on appellate advocacy and environmental law in WCC 3016 at 12:30. The talk will cover important topics such as recent victories and setbacks in environmental litigation, as well as the potential threats looming for the EPA and other federal or state agency rules in a post-Loper Bright and post-Corner Post world. The talk will also give students insights into careers in appellate work, environmental advocacy, and public service more generally.
