WashU Law: Historical Gloss and Foreign Affairs with Curtis Bradley
The International Law Society (ILS) and the American Constitution Society (ACS) are pleased to co-host a lunchtime book talk with Professor Curtis Bradley of the University of Chicago Law School. Professor Bradley will discuss his recent book, Historical Gloss and Foreign Affairs, which explores the historical development of presidential authority in foreign affairs and its relationship to separation-of-powers principles.
The conversation will examine constitutional structure, executive power, and the role of historical practice in constitutional interpretation, offering students insight into contemporary debates at the intersection of constitutional and international law.
