Insights from the Bench: Judge Long

Join ACS and Duke Law alumnus Judge Brandon Long from the U.S. Eastern District of Louisiana to discuss his journey to the bench, his time on the bench as a newly appointed judge, and any other general questions you may want answered. This discussion will be a coffee chat format and take place at 9 am in Star Commons. We will have a table, and pastries will be provided. Attendance will be capped to the first 15 RSVPs.

Judge Long is a Biden appointee and was confirmed by the Senate to his position on December 14, 2023. Before joining the bench, he spent time both in private practice and in the public sector.
