Immigration Bond Hearing Observer Training

Hosted by the GW Law National Lawyers Guild, GW Law American Civil Liberties Union, and GW Law Immigration Law Society.
An attorney with the Capital Area Immigrant Rights (CAIR) Coalition will be at GW Law on 10/28 at 8:15 PM for a training on observing Immigration Bond Hearings. CAIR is trying to determine if immigration judges in the area are considering an individual's ability to pay when setting bail. Trained volunteers will be helping CAIR gather this data to help improve bond hearings to ensure better outcomes for immigrants.
