Fresh from the Court: Let's Talk About Sex Discrimination

This is a panel discussion that is co-hosted with the LGBTQ+ affinity group on campus, Lambda Law. Panelists will give an inside look at the the Supreme Court's consideration of whether the prohibition in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 against employment discrimination “because of . . . sex” encompasses discrimination based on an individual’s sexual orientation and gender identity. Panelists each penned a friend-of-the-court brief in the trio of watershed Title VII cases taking up this question and will be at the Court for oral arguments earlier that day.
