Closing the Workhouse: St. Louis' Medium Security Institution

Join Washington University's chapter of the American Constitution Society in learning about "the Workhouse," St. Louis' notorious medium-security institution. We will be joined by Sima Atri, a civil rights attorney with ArchCity Defenders, a non-profit civil rights firm in St. Louis, and members of the Close the Workhouse campaign. Focusing on the controversies surrounding the facility and the legal/political campaign to shut it down, this event will begin with presentations from our speakers followed by a Q&A session where we our speakers will take questions from the crowd.
